Volk Upholstery is owned and operated by second generation upholsterer, Nick Volk.  He took over the business in 2004 from his father, Florian Volk, who started the business in December of 1981.  While Volk Upholstery has had many locations over the years, Nick now works from his home shop in Aberdeen, South Dakota.  

Nick first became interested in upholstery as a small kid, playing in the shop while Florian worked.  At 23, he took over the business when his dad decided to retire.  Nick and his dad still work together on projects in the shop.  

When he isn't in the shop, he loves camping, fishing, coaching his oldest in BB Gun Shooting Sports and watering his lawn.

Nick is married to Nicole Volk and they have two girls.
